There are places that speak even before they are inhabited. Torre Limonaia is one of them.

Just steps from Lake Garda, surrounded by lemon trees, olive groves, and tranquil nature, this historic rural building has been transformed into an exclusive holiday home through a development and management project by Maison Selva.

Torre Limonaia was already a unique place. Our role was to oversee it and create a genuine and profitable hospitality experience around it.

A place, not a tourist commodity

Torre Limonaia is situated in Gargnano, one of the most authentic and refined spots on Lake Garda. It does not cater to mass tourism and is placed within a peaceful landscape. It is a light stone tower, built centuries ago as an agricultural building and now maintained as a residence for a select few, perfectly balanced between nature and architecture.

The owner entrusted Maison Selva to manage the property as a vacation home on behalf of third parties, aiming to preserve the property’s identity, make it accessible to a select audience, and generate economic value in accordance with the property’s quality.

An evolving project: management vision and future hospitality

Maison Selva has taken on Torre Limonaia as a comprehensive project for enhancement and future high-end short-term rental management. The tower is undergoing meticulous restoration and bespoke interior design, aiming to preserve its original charm while offering modern comforts.

It’s not just about restoring the tower to its architectural splendor, but about creating a complete living experience from the outset, which will then be managed using a bespoke approach, following the Maison Selva model.

Key elements of the ongoing project:

Positioning definition: Torre Limonaia will not be “just a villa for rent,” but an intimate, tranquil retreat, seamlessly integrated into the Lake Garda scenery. From the architectural design to the furnishings, we are creating a consistent identity, aimed at those seeking authenticity and understated beauty.

Experience design: the arrangement of spaces, materials, color palette, and decorative elements already tell the story of the experience future guests will encounter. The stay model will be intelligent and seamless, with self-check-in and hospitality centred on elegance, simplicity, and discreet comfort.

Future management: alongside the construction phase, we’re developing the post-opening management plan: scheduled maintenance, seasonal property care, ongoing quality control, and personalized hospitality services. The goal is to ensure, from day one, a smooth, flawless experience that reflects the value of the property.

Torre Limonaia will open to the public once every detail, both architectural and managerial, is ready to welcome those seeking a “different experience, far from tourism clichés and close to the essence of the surrounding landscape and history.

Not a hotel, but a precise concept of temporary living.

Those who book Torre Limonaia seek ways to spend their free time. That’s why we’ve adopted a management philosophy that prioritizes:

  • authenticity of spaces (no standardization, no hospitality facility signage)
  • functional comfort (complete but invisible amenities, integrated into the furnishings)
  • direct relationship with Maison Selva, which does not act as an impersonal intermediary but as a welcoming partner, discreet and present only when needed

This combination has enabled us to attract attentive, respectful international guests seeking spaces that foster calm and purpose.

Management as a cultural vision

As with all projects undertaken by Maison Selva, in the case of Torre Limonaia as well, management has been viewed as both a cultural and entrepreneurial act.

Cultural, as it honors the history of the place, the beauty of materials, and the patience needed to understand its meaning. Business, because it creates a sustainable, measurable, and replicable model for the owner that can generate ongoing value without sacrificing the original identity.

Torre Limonaia is an example of how a prestigious property, when properly managed, can create an experience that doesn’t exaggerate luxury but provides simplicity and genuine hospitality.

Maison Selva has decided to improve it by focusing on what it does best: listening, strategy, and consistency.

Currently, Torre Limonaia is still under renovation and will soon be ready for the public.

We look forward to welcoming you.
