In the heart of the most authentic Lake Garda, among the cypress trees and scenic paths of Gargnano, stands one of the area’s most captivating historic residences: Villa Sostaga. Once the stables of the Counts Feltrinelli, it is now an intimate and refined space for guests seeking peace and beauty.

Selva Hospitality was commissioned to renovate and enlarge the property with seven luxury suites, maintaining its essence while reinterpreting it through contemporary design approach.

From past to present: respect as a foundation

Villa Sostaga is more than just a breathtaking location: it is a place rich in history, character, and memories. The original stables preserved a rustic charm, constructed with wooden beams, textured walls, and striking openings that overlook the lake.

Selva Hospitality’s intervention did not erase these features but enhanced them through interior design, with custom solutions, noble materials, and functional details that always respect the historical coherence of the place.

The intervention: seven suites blending history, comfort, and lakeside views

Selva Hospitality managed the entire process:

• Interior Design and Styling, defining concepts and color palettes in dialogue with the external environment
• Contract and furniture supply, creating each element to measure, with a selection of natural materials and tailored finishes
• Technology and Sustainability, integrating discreet climate control systems, home automation solutions, and eco-friendly materials
• Wellness Design, creating private spas for each suite to provide a complete wellness experience.
• Strategic consulting on positioning, to strengthen the target market and guest experience narrative

Each suite features a private spa, lake-view terrace, and spacious, bright interiors where comfort and beauty blend seamlessly. The tailored finishes and nature-inspired palette with neutral tones, soft greens, and light woods create warmth and intimacy.

Guest experience management: silent yet present

In managing the spaces, Selva adopted a bespoke approach. The goal wasn’t just to create luxury rooms but to develop environments that offer real living quality, crafted with subtle yet noticeable details: natural fabrics, tactile surfaces, thoughtfully designed lighting, and technological solutions that blend seamlessly rather than stand out.

The guest experience was designed to offer freedom and comfort, enabling the property to communicate through its silence and beauty without imposed narratives.

A Project that embodies the Selva philosophy

Villa Sostaga represents one of the projects most aligned with Selva Hospitality’s vision: historic sites reimagined without losing their essence, luxury experiences focused on genuine wellbeing, and hospitality customised for those seeking authenticity and high quality.

Not merely a simple restyling, but an integrated expansion project that has enhanced the property’s contemporary value, making it the focal point of an intimate and timeless hospitality experience.

Villa Sostaga today is more than just a hotel: it is a place to experience and remember. A retreat where luxury is not showiness, but a harmony between history and the future.

A project that fully embodies Selva Hospitality’s philosophy: creating customized hospitality, where every detail tells the story of the place and its inhabitants.
